BIF Executive Director Melissa Withers has been named one of ten people who can change the city of Providence in 2010 by Providence Monthly magazine. Withers shared this honor with BIF community friends Andy Cutler and Matt Grigsby.
In a feature appearing in this month's issue, Withers shares her thoughts on how important it is to stay motivated despite the tough economic times, pledging to stay firmly focused on efforts that continue to move Rhode Island's capital city forward.
At BIF, Withers is responsible for projects in BIF's Experience Labs. Withers took the stage this past summer at the Boston TEDX meet-up to discuss the Elder Experience Lab and performed as a storyteller at the BIF-5 Summit in 2009, where she debuted outcomes from the first phase of work in the Student Experience Lab.
